A crowded Auditorium Testori of Palazzo Lombardia hosted the “Ward Ceremony” of  “Sport Movies & Tv 2014 – 32nd Milano International FICTS Fest” Final of 16 Festivals of the “World FICTS Challenge”, Worldwide Championship of Sports Cinema, Television, Communication and Culture (which took place in 5 Continents). The lead editor of  “Gazzetta dello Sport” Andrea Monti delivered the Award “Opera Prima – Enrica Speroni” to Gulcin Gilbert director of the movie “Pink skies the movie” (Warp 8 Productions – USA) work about the “fair sex” who overcome obstacles as athletes and human beings and in particular about  181 women who jump in the sky for philantropy. The “Award Candido Cannavò for the Olympic Spirit”, dedicated to the “historical” Director of “Gazzetta dello Sport” was given to the Rai production “100 Anni di emozioni azzurre” one hundred years of Italy on the Olympic podium on the occasion of the centenary of CONI.

The other “Special Award” were delivered by the General Manager Changhong Mr Alex Lin to “The sacred arrow” (Beijing Himalaya Audio & Visual Culture Communication CO. Ltd. – China) one hundred years of traditions in an archery competition; Mrs Cristina Molinari delivered the “WCPMedia Services” Award to Richard Galvani “Unstoppables”‘s director (Black Train Films – UK) able-bodied and disabled athletes together to overcome their limits; the “Gentleman Fair Play” Award, delivered by the founder Mr Gianfranco Fasan was given to “Les entraînements au fair play” (Asbl Panathlon Wallonie-Bruxelles- Belgium) the “Fair Play Training” (“Entraînement au Fair Play”) with the objective of raising awarness of young football players of the importance of having a proper behaviour during the game, maintaining and diffusing a positive mood inside and all around football spaces.

Emanuela Audisio’s movie “Mennea Segreto” (out of competition) received the “Special Award”. The other Mennea, who doesn’t run, but studies, works, writes, is involved in civil life and takes exams at the University in secret. The one who has four degrees, who is not pleased with the world title, the Olympic gold, but, with the same stubbornness, looks for a goal in the daily life too. “9 Meter” (M & M Productions – Denmark), directed by the Academy Award winner 2014 Anders Walter, was awarded with the “Bruno Beneck Critics Award”: breaking a record to save his mother. “Un Lario da record” (Associazione Mediacreative – Italy) received the “Regione Lombardia Award”: three stories in the same part of lake interweave. Lake Como, September 2013: a boy immersed for 50 hours and 7 minutes in the cold, dark waters of the lake, snatches an absolute World Record that owns in the USA.

To “Maracanazo: the football legend”, (Latido Films – Spain) the documentary about the historical victory of the Uruguay football team over Brazil during the World Cup played on 16th July 1950 in the temple of “Maracanà” in Rio de Janeiro, was given the Infront Award.

The “WFC Award” was given to “Mi chiamo Entella e ho cent’anni” (Virtus Entella – Italy): one hundred years in the life of Entella Football Club retold in the words of the main characters of every age. Sites, faces, tales, emotions of those that are part of this chronicle make up a portrait of a small town in the Italian province and of its football club which, to this day, are still very closely identified with one another.

During the night  97 producers and director coming from 5 Continents partcipated and the 100 protagonists of the Schools in Milan and provinces who take part to “Trofei di Milano 2014” were awarded.
