FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, joined with 113 Countries) recognized by IOC (International Olympic Committee) organizes “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2014 – 32nd MILANO INTERNATIONAL FICTS FEST” (www.sportmoviestv.com), which will be held from 3 to 8 December 2013 in Milano (Italy), with the aim of spreading the values and the messages of sport using the universal language of the sports image.
The International event for Cinema, Television and sports Communication, is the final Phase of the “World FICTS Challenge”, Circuit of 15 Festivals promoted and organised by FICTS in 5 Continents: Barcelona (Spain), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Matera (Italy), Haifa (Israel), Hanoi (Vietnam), Kampala (Uganda), Beijing (P. R. of China), Samara (Russia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Liberec (Czech Rep.), Baku (Azerbaijan), Lipetsk (Russia), Los Angeles (USA), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Tianjin (P. R. of China).
FICTS signal the opportunity to submit a video to “Sport Movies & Tv 2014 ” with references to the sports theme (documentaries, fiction, shorts, feature films, etc) that is in a highlight limelight for the industry of sports cinema and television.

The event, a privileged place of meeting for authors, media, television broadcastings, operating, important world-wide Networks, radio, houses of production, major, producers, directors, filmmakers, Olympic Committees and Sports Federations, advertising and integrated communication agencies, is an important “international showcase” for the productions that will compete for the assignment of the “Guirlande d’Honneur” the “Oscar of Sports Cinema and Television”, of the “Mention d’Honneur” and of the “Special Prize” which will be assigned for each Section by an International Jury.
All the works admitted to the Festival will appear on the program of the event and will be shown with a schedule, inserted in the Festival Official Catalogue (http://sportmoviestv.net/catalogue) while the Trailers will be edit on the website in the Section “Trailer” (http://sportmoviestv.net/trailer).
For the 150 Selected Works, FICTS – Fédération Internazionale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs – will pay 50% of the cost of the overnight stay (max. 2 people) only to the NASCO HOTEL (4 star, Corso Sempione 69, in the center of Milano) for all the period of the Festival.
A real worldwide event of the field that include 150 Projections, 6 Meetings, 2 Workshops, 4 Exhibitions, 30 Awards, 4 Side Events with prestigious guests and high media interest (230 qualified journalists) that will involve over 100.000 audience with free entrance and by invitation where it is expected the presence of 200 Sports Television Channels which will participate to the delivery of the “Tv Sport Emotions Award” to “The best of world tv sport channel” in the within of the “TV SPORT EMOTIONS” Program.
In 2012 the prestigious prize was given to Eurosport and, in 2013, to CCTV Cinema (China Central Television, National Chinese Television).
