
On August 27th” “1st Nagano International FICTS Festival” will end with “Awarding Ceremony” in the Olympic city of Nagano (Japan), coordinated by President of Organizing Committee Mr. Ryuichiro Tsuchiya and by Senior Advisor Mr. Kimi Koyanagi (already a Member of Nagano 1998 Olympics Organizing Committee). In Matsumoto (Prefecture of Nagano) on August 20th took place, with success, the “Opening Ceremony”.
Festival is articulated in Projections, Meetings, Exhibitions and, in the context of “Olympic Images E-Motions” Program promoted by FICTS in agreement with IOC Olympic Foundation for Culture and Olympic Heritage, will be organized on August 26th “Olympism Day” to promote Olympic values and to make discover new sport disciplines through Olympic projections and films from FICTS archive.

On August 25th “Zlatibor Sportfilm International Ficts Festival” in Zlatibor (Serbia) will start coordinated by President of Organizing Committee Mr. Vojko Korošec and by Festival Director Mr. Peter Majerle. The Awarding Ceremony is in program on August 28th in the presence of highest civil, military and sports Authorities.

The winners of 8 Sections of Nagano and of Zlatibor will attend “40th SPORT MOVIES & TV 2022 – Milano International FICTS Fest” (www.sportmoviestv.com), Final of Television, Cinema, Culture and Sport communication World Championship, in conclusion of “World FICTS Challenge”, articulated in 20 Festivals (with 130 participants Countries) in program from 9th to 13th November 2022 in Milan with a “special showcase” dedicated to Olympic Games through the best Beijing 2022 and Tokyo 2020 pictures towards Paris 2024 and Milano-Cortina 2026.
Next FICTS Festivals on the calendar for September: Kampala (Uganda) from 12th to14th September; Taskent (Uzbekistan) from 23th to 25th September; Pristina (Kosovo) from 30th September to 2nd October.
The events are organized under the aegis and in collaboration with FICTS – Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (chaired by Prof. Franco Ascani, Member of IOC Culture and Olympic Heritage Commission).
