BODA launches the International Youth Painting Exhibition

BODA – Beijing Olympic Development Association that organizes, in collaboration with FICTS, the “Beijing International Sports film Week” (in the framework of the International Circuit “World FICTS Challenge” which aims to promote the development of sports movies and the Olympic ideals as well as to transmit the Olympic legacy, is one of organizer of the “Colorful Imagination of Ice and Snow, Best Wishes for the Winter Olympics”, International Youth Painting Invitational Exhibition for the 100 Day Countdown to the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.

With the aim to promote the Olympic spirit, encourage the youth from all over the worldto interpret it through painting, promote international art exchanges among the youth, and jointly welcome and offer our best wishes for the 2022 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Media and Communications Department of Beijing Organizing Committee for the Winter Olympics, China Center for International People-to-People Exchange Ministry of Education, Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Beijing Municipal Government, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Beijing Olympic City Development Association, and the China National Children’s Center will co-organize the”ColourfulImagination of Ice and Snow, Best Wishes for the Winter Olympics—International Youth Painting Invitational Exhibition for the 100-Day Countdown to Beijing Winter Olympics”. It’s open to the youthaged from 4 to18 years old around the world. The entries are expected to be submitted by August 20 2021. The Organizing Committee is honored to invite young people from all over the world to carry onthe Olympic spirit through painting and to expresstheir best wishes for the 2022 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The exhibition is scheduled to hold an opening ceremony and awards ceremony at the end of October. It isalsoplanned to be exhibited in Beijing and other Chinesecitiesfrom November 2021 to March 2022. Some of the winning works will be displayed on the official website of the Organizing Committee ofthis competition and theOrganizing Committee for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, and will have chance to be exhibitedin the relevant activities organized by the Organizing Committee.
