On Sunday December 9^th at 6.30 p.m. (required accreditation access no later than 6 p.m. for television needs) the seventeenth-century "Palazzo Presidio Militare" (Via Brera 15 - Milan) instead of "Palazzo Reale" (Piazza Duomo, 12) as previously announced, will open the doors to Sport, Cinema, Television and Culture for the delivery of the "Guirlande d'Honneur", the "Mention d'Honneur" and "Special Prizes" to the winners of "Sport Movies & Tv 2012 - 30^th Milano International FICTS Fest". The International Juries ("Honorary Chairman" fashion designer Ottavio Missoni) defined choices for the 7 sections of the Festival.

The "noble art" is the protagonist in the "Award Ceremony" after the acknowledgment by FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani to the “Team Dolce & Gabbana Milano Thunder” for the success in the "World Series of Boxing". "Guest of Honor" will be Ching-Kuo Wu President of AIBA (International Amateur Boxing Association) who will deliver to Roberto Cammarelle (silver medal at London 2012) a "Special Award" which is a reproduction of the silver cup that, in 1908, Queen Victoria of England handed to Dorando Pietri Italian marathon runner famous in history for the dramatic climax of the marathon at the 1908 London Olympic Games.

Speakers at the "Award Ceremony" – behind 90 producers as well as directors from all 5 Continents - the V. President of the International Biathlon Union Alexander Tikhonov (4 Olympic gold medals, 11 gold worldwide), the world record depth in apnea Homar Leuci, former pilot of F1 Alessandro Nannini,  former playmaker and coach of Benetton Basket Treviso Aleksandar "Sasha" Djordjevic (Olympic silver medal at Atlanta 1996) and the sport agent Jorge Mendes (agent, among others, of Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo).

A wide participation on national and international scale, success of critic and public, together with the presence, in all the days, of sport champions, Institutional Authorities and international sportsman, producers and directors, have characterized the 30^th edition of "Sport Movies & Tv 2012".

Day dedicated to TV on Saturday 8^th December at "Sport Movies & Tv 2012 - 30^th Milano International FICS Fest" during which will be the final event of the program "TV SPORT EMOTIONS" launched by FICTS (that this year celebrates its "Thirtieth years of Foundation”), among 1.133 TV sports channels from around the world.

At 3.30 p.m. in the Hall of the Palazzo Parlamentino Giureconsulti (Piazza Mercanti, 2 - Milan) will be scheduled the Workshop "NEW INTERNATIONAL SPORT TELEVISION MARKET TRENDS" moment of cultural and professional and reflection between Network Television, producers, A meeting, debate, cultural-professional exchange among TV Network, Producers, Directors, Distributors, Journalist and Market Operators on the developments, tendencies of TV, Web and mobile to the presence of TV, sport and media personalities. At the end of the Workshop will be held the “Award Ceremony” of the "TV Sport Emotions Award" for the "Best Sports TV Channel of the Year".

At 20.30 in the Hall Parlamentino evening dedicated to the presentation of the "Valsesia International Film Festival Canoe": President Angelo Vergani (Synergy snc) will present the best of works on the river canoeing. With the intervention of Dr. Francis Gabet Director of the Olympic Museum and Antoine de Navacelle De Coubertin (great-grandson of the Baron), in the presence of 50 international delegates were presented the 14 Festival Circuit "World FICTS Challenge 2013" and approved the Partnership Program FICTS - IOC from 2013 to 2015.

The curtain rises on "Sport Movies & Tv 2012 - 30^th Milano International FICTS Fest" the World Championship of Cinema, Television and sport Culture, the final stage of the International Circuit of the 14 Festivals in 5 Continents held at "Palazzo Lombardia”.

The event - organized by FICTS (Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs, attended by 113 countries), on the occasion of his "Thirty Years of the Foundation" - were present, in addition to the maximum institutional and civil authorities and past and present fencing gold medals - prestigious guests of sports, cinema and journalism. The FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani has awarded with the "Excellence Guirlande d'Honneur" - the highest honor of the Federation - Carlos Nuzman President of the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games Rio 2016, Giampiero Boniperti Honorary President of Juventus Football Club and Max Biaggi Worldwide Champion of motorcycling.

The Palazzo Giureconsulti - "core business" of the Festival hosts - behind the projection, meetings and workshops, the exhibitions (open to the audience with free admission): "The best of London 2012" photos of the most exciting moments and the performances of the athletes at the 2012 London Olympic Games which will be displayed in the New Olympic Museum in Lausanne, "30 Movies for 30 years" the posters of the best sport movies from 1982 till now and "Happy Birthday FICTS", 50 panels for 30 years of the Federation in the world.

Mercoledì 5 Dicembre alle 18 presso Palazzo Lombardia (Via Melchiorre Gioia, 33 - Milano) avrà luogo la “Cerimonia di Inaugurazione” di “Sport Movies & Tv - 30^th Milano International FICTS Fest”, Campionato Mondiale del Cinema, della Televisione e della Cultura sportiva, momento conclusivo del Circuito Internazionale “World FICTS Challenge”, vetrina delle migliori opere di 14 Festival nei 5 Continenti. Sarà celebrato il 150° anno della nascita di Pierre De Coubertin (“Padre” dei Giochi Olimpici moderni) alla presenza di Antoine de Navacelle De Coubertin (nipote del Barone) e sarà proiettato il video “I Giochi Olimpici Rio 2016” con l’intervento del Presidente del Comitato Olimpico Brasiliano e Comitato Organizzatore Giochi Olimpici Carlos Arthur Nuzman che sarà insignito della “Excellence Guirlande d’Honneur”.

Nel corso della “Cerimonia” sarà reso un omaggio – da 8 schermidori vincitori di medaglie d’oro ai Giochi Olimpici di Londra 2012 e da 8 ori Olimpici del passato – a Edoardo Mangiarotti (recentemente scomparso), l’olimpionico italiano vincitore di 13 medaglie ai Giochi.

Tra i 18 ospiti che interverranno: Giampiero Boniperti Presidente Onorario Juventus FC, Max Biaggi Campione del mondo di motociclismo e Francesco Ricci Bitti Membro CIO, Presidente della Federazione Internazionale Tennis e dell’ASOIF e lo stilista “sportivo” Ottavio Missoni.

All’insegna dello slogan “Culture through sport” – “Sport Movies & Tv 2012” è organizzato dalla FICTS (Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs, a cui aderiscono 113 Nazioni, presieduta dal Prof. Franco Ascani, membro della Commissione Cultura ed Educazione Olimpica del CIO).

L’evento - ad ingresso gratuito - presso Palazzo Giureconsulti (P.zza Mercanti, 2 – Milano) – (trasmesso per 5 giorni in diretta su RAI Sport TV per complessive 10 ore e collegato con 92 Network televisivi) – si articola in 160 Proiezioni (scelte tra 972 opere) suddiviso in 7 Sezioni e 50 Discipline Sportive (per 5 giorni in 7 punti di proiezione contemporaneamente), 8 Meeting, 2 Workshop, 4 Mostre, 2 Conferenze Stampa, 4 Eventi collegati, 30 Premiazioni in occasione del “Trentennale” della FICTS.

Giovedi 6 Dicembre (ore 10.30), sarà inaugurata dal Direttore del Museo Olimpico Francis Gabet la Mostra fotografica “The best of London 2012”, sarà proiettato il video “Pierre De Coubertin Life and Work” e presentati i 14 Festival del 2013 promossi dalla FICTS.

“Tv Sport Emotions” è il tema che la FICTS - quale “Federazione Internazionale delle Televisioni Sportive” – ha scelto per il 2012, attraverso una serie di iniziative che coinvolgeranno attivamente le produzioni di migliaia di tv sportive di tutto il mondo.

“Sport Movies & Tv 2012” si avvale della collaborazione del CIO, l’UNESCO, Regione Lombardia, Camera di Commercio di Milano e del Patrocinio della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, del CONI, del C.I.P., della FIGC, di EXPO 2015, del Comune e della Provincia di Milano, dell’AC Milan e della FC Internazionale.
