“SPORT AWARDS - BERGAMO INTERNATIONAL FICTS FESTIVAL”: THE WINNER IS…

The Centro Congressi Giovanni XXIII in Bergamo (Italy) hosted the first edition of “Sport Awards - Bergamo International FICTS Festival” (opened by FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani), an event organized by the Association of International Film Festival (chaired by Dr Roberto Gualdi), by the National Olympic Athletes and Azzurri of Italy, in collaboration with the FICTS - Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs included in the “World FICTS Challenge 2015” Worldwide Championship of Cinema and Sport Television and in the Program “Exsport: Sports, Culture, Tourism for all”.

The “Award Ceremony”, where attended twenty athletes of ANAOAI Association, took place at the Congress Centre Giovanni XXIII. Winner of the first edition was “Icefall” directed by Joseph Areddy (production Mammut Absolute Alpine - Switzerland) “for the spectacular images, especially at night, an ice climbing, despite the brevity”. The winner of the photo was Fabio Venturelli “Paratriathlon” who immortalized “the effort and hard work of the Paralympic world perfectly capturing the intensity of the performance, thanks to its excellent clarity”.

 

KAZAN (REP. OF TATARSTAN - RUSSIA) CAPITAL OF SPORT AT WORLDWIDE LEVEL: 5-10 AUGUST

It was officially presented in Kazan (Rep. of Tatarstan - Russia) the 33rd WORLDWIDE FINAL OF WORLD FICTS CHALLENGE 2015” by Khalil Shaykhutdinov First Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan, Prof. Franco Ascani FICTS President (Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs) and Diana Safarova General Manager of the FICTS Worldwide Championship who highlighted the precious meaning of the international events for young people.

From 5 to 10 August Kazan will host – for the first time in Russia – the Worldwide Final of 16 Festivals (in 5 Continents with 113 Member Countries) of the “World FICTS Challenge”, Worldwide Championship of Sports Cinema and Television in conjunction with World Swimming Championships that the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan will host after the Universiade 2013, the Fencing World Championship 2014 and will be the a seat of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018.

“Kazan Worldwide Final of World FICTS Challenge 2015” will be articulated - in addition to imposing Opening and Closing Ceremonies – in 100 Projections, 4 Meetings, 4 Exhibitions, 5 Side Events, 2 Workshops, the International Forum “Tv Sport Emotions” and Awards of prestigious international guests of television, sports and cinema. The event will involved world networks, production companies, sports champions, industry experts.

During the Press Conference Prof. Ascani declared: “The aim of the Worldwide Final is to promote the “Culture through sport”. Kazan is a great example for the promotion of sports values and Olympism”.

At the end of the Press Conference the FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani and the First Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Khalil Shaykhutdinov signed the “Memorandum of Understanding” between FICTS, the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Sport and Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The decision to assign the Final to Kazan had been taken by the FICTS General Assembly on 4th and 5th December 2014 in Milan. The foundations were laid during Prof. Franco Ascani’s visit in Kazan in July when he met President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov who showed interest in hosting an international event about sports culture in Kazan.

 

APERTE LE ISCRIZIONI A “EXSPORT MOVIES & TV”, EDIZIONE SPECIALE PER EXPO 2015

Il Presidente della FICTS Prof. Franco Ascani ha ufficialmente presentato, a Losanna il 17 Febbraio, il Calendario definitivo del “World FICTS Challenge 2015” il Campionato Mondiale della Televisione, del Cinema, della Comunicazione e della Cultura Sportiva (articolato in 16 Fasi che si svolgeranno nei cinque Continenti) già ratificato dal Comitato Esecutivo FICTS il 26 gennaio.

Le sedi del 2015 sono: Barcellona (Spagna), Rio de Janeiro (Brasile), Pechino (Cina), Katmandu (Nepal), Samara (Russia), Bergamo (Italia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Lipetsk (Russia), Kampala (Uganda), Hanoi (Vietnam), Liberec (Rep. Ceca), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Bruxelles (Belgio), Matera (Italia), Oaxaca (Messico), Los Angeles (USA).

Milano, dal 27 al 31 Ottobre (in occasione dell’Esposizione Universale EXPO 2015 che si concluderà a Milano il 31 ottobre), ospiterà “EXSPORT MOVIES & TV 2015 – 33rd MILANO INTERNATIONAL FICTS FEST”, edizione speciale del tradizionale evento mondiale dedicato alle Televisioni, al Cinema, allo Sport, alla Cultura e alla Comunicazione all’insegna dello slogan “FICTS is Culture through sport”. La manifestazione si colloca, inoltre, nell’ambito di “EXSPORT: Sport, Culture, Tourism for all” una “piattaforma” di attività culturali, formative e sportive in ottica internazionale per EXPO 2015.

“Exsport Movies & Tv” costituirà un qualificato momento di incontro per media, network mondiali, new media, case di produzione, produttori, registi, Comitati Olimpici e Federazioni sportive, campioni sportivi, radio, agenzie pubblicitarie e di comunicazione che illustreranno l’universo della televisione e del cinema sportivi attraverso documentari, spot, reportage, fiction, cartoon, etc. in una delle 7 le Sezioni competitive: 1) Giochi Olimpici, 2) Documentari, 3) Trasmissioni Tv e Nuove Tecnologie, 4) Sport & Società, 5) Movies, 6) Sport & Pubblicità, 7) Movies & Tv Football. Il Festival, caratterizzato da un’ampia partecipazione internazionale (giornalisti, operatori ed esperti del settore, campioni sportivi) che determina un forte impatto mediatico, turistico-economico sul territorio regionale, si articola in Proiezioni, Meeting, Workshop, Mostre, Conferenze Stampa, Eventi collegati, Premiazioni di ospiti internazionali.

Le produzioni che perverranno al Comitato Organizzatore del Festival hanno diritto a partecipare unitamente alle opere vincitrici dei 16 Festival del Campionato Mondiale della Televisione e del Cinema sportivo “World FICTS Challenge” a “Exsport Movies & Tv 2015” a Milano.

"CERIMONIA DI APERTURA" DEL "BERGAMO INTERNATIONAL FICTS FESTIVAL": SABATO 21 FEBBRAIO

Il Centro Congressi Giovanni XXIII di Bergamo ospiterà, Sabato 21 Febbraio (ore 20.30 - ingresso libero), la “Cerimonia di Apertura” della prima edizione dello “Sport Awards - Bergamo International FICTS Festival” a cui interverrà il Presidente della FICTS Prof. Franco Ascani.

 

L’evento è organizzato dall’Associazione Festival Internazionale del Cinema, dall'Associazione Nazionale Atleti Olimpici e Azzurri d'Italia, in collaborazione con la FICTS - Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs ed è inserito nel “World FICTS Challenge 2015” Campionato Mondiale della Televisione e del Cinema sportivo articolato in 16 Festival che si svolgono nei 5 Continenti. A livello regionale, nel Programma “EXSPORT: Sport, Culture, Tourism for all”. Proiezioni ed incontri caratterizzeranno il Festival che comprenderà anche un concorso fotografico sui gesti atletici.

Nel corso della serata di inaugurazione saranno proiettati alcuni dei film in concorso, tra cui: “Icefall” di Joseph Areddy, “Un Lario da record” di Donatella Cervi, “Les entraînements au fair play” del Asbl Panathlon Wallonie, “Oben” di Bah Thierno, Pierre Ledain, David Martins e Noé Giuliani, “The equestrian” di Sybil H. Mair.

L'Associazione BERGAMO BOXE presenterà il “Bergamo Boxing Galà - Una lunga e ricca storia pugilistica nella Città dei Mille": un’installazione con immagini e articoli giornalistici, ci farà rivivere la storia della boxe a Bergamo, dal 1900 ai giorni nostri. L’Associazione, nata nel 1973, persegue l’affermazione dell’ideale sportivo e dei suoi valori morali, nell’intento di promuovere la disciplina del pugilato sul territorio bergamasco.

New look for www.sportmoviestv.com the international sport image Portal, created by FICTS - Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs (recognized by the IOC - International Olympic Committee) that - with the slogan “FICTS Is Culture Through Sports” – aims itself to meet the growing request of sports footages. The portal is modernised in contents and graphic line with more news information in order to satisfy the curiosity of the enthusiasts (but not only), a web window dedicated to television, cinema, communication and sport culture. The interactivity, an essential component of the web, makes the portal more dynamic: the user can interact by visiting the multimedia contents and sending news on topic of sports, television, culture and cinema that will be edit on the site. The editorial staff avails itself of the contribution of the corresponding experts and professionals of the 113 affiliated Countries to the FICTS as well as the global network of 16 Festivals in the 5 Continents of the International Circuit “World FICTS Challenge”. With the videos and the Calendar 2015 (World FICTS Challenge).

The website (in Italian and English languages) is presented with a structured and articulated that makes it easier to access the content. All is supplied with a wide panoramic on 738 videos in the “Trailer” Section and photos (9.274 images) in the “Photogalley” Section with the 198 guests awarded with the “Guirlande d’Honneur” part of the “FICTS HALL OF FAME” (Hall fo Fame). A rich section of news covers the panorama on the about sport, cinema, technology, culture and television world (News Centre with free access to the weekly Information Agency), the archives with the 2.158 schedules of all the videos “Selected”  in competition to “Sport Movies & Tv” in the last ten years (Participants). There are 1.133 international tv sports channels that are part of the communication network of the same portal. Uniform visualization with all the main browser (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and upgraded search engine.  11th

FICTS, furthermore, with the its App, is available for free on tablet and Smartphone in the Apple Stores (with iOS operating system for iPhone and iPad) and Google play (for Android). In particular, at the access, you can see the news in the section “News”. For every section, “Events”, “Photo-gallery” and “Video-gallery”, the application will show the last 100 news, automatically deleting the most dated ones and will advise the user, with a specific message, if there are news or upcoming events. The FICTS’ App allows users to consult - in sharing on the social networks on which the Federation is present (Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Linkedin, etc.) - all contents of the Information Agency “Sport Movies & Tv”.
