Barcelona (Spain) will be the seat of the fourth edition of “Barcelona International FICTS Festival - BCN Sports Film” from April 17^th to 20^th 2013.

The event is organized – in the framework of the Worldwide Championship of Cinema, Sport and Television “World FICTS Challenge” - by the “Fundacio Olympic Barcelona” directed by Dr Juli Pernas Lopez (director of Museu Olímpic i de l'Esport) in collaboration with the “Nikita Distribution” enterprise of distribution of audiovisual contents of sports thematic involving the whole world.

The event will host in prestigious venues: the “Museu Olímpic i de l'Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch” situated in the heart of the Parc de Montjuïc, near to Plaza de España, will host the “Award Ceremony”, the Sala Àmbit cultural of el Corte Inglés in Portal de L'àngel  ill be the venues of the projections and Meeting.

The main mean of the presentation used by FICTS for the promotion and the spread of the Olympic values and of the sport culture, is the World Championship of Sport, Cinema and Television “World FICTS Challenge (WFC)”, a competition for cinematographic and tv works come from all over the world, articulated in 14 Phases together with the World Final step.

FICTS, through the “World FICTS Challenge, promotes the quality of sports images and the co-operation of those whom work creatively in sports television, broadcasting and cinema. FICTS, through the Festivals’ structures, supports the producers and the directors in the licensing procedures and processes for accessing Olympic content.

FICTS put at disposal of the Local Organizing Committees an intense promotional activity: organizational aspects about the take, the promotion (mail sent directly to the producers, the directors, the Olympic Committees, the sport Federations, etc.), possibility of searches in the FICTS video archives, advising and attendance for the organization, facilities for agreements with houses of production, Sport Network, Agencies, Sport Federations, etc.

Sport, tv, culture, cinema and communication will be the protagonists, not only on the screen, from 4^th to 8^th December, to “Sport Movies & Tv 2013 – 31^st Milano International FICTS Fest” Worldwide event that will be held in Milano (Italy) Final of the 14 Festivals of the World Championship of Cinema and Sport television “World FICTS Challenge” that carried out in the 5 Continents: Barcelona (Spain), Istanbul (Turkey), Hanoi (Vietnam), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Guayaquil (Ecuador), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Matera (Italy), Kazan (Rep. Tatarstan), Kampala (Uganda), Haifa (Israel), Lipetsk (Russia), Liberec (Czech Rep.), Los Angeles (USA), Beijing (P. R. of China), Milan (Italy).

“Sport Movies & Tv” – under the slogan ““FICTS Is Culture Through Sport” - is organized by FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, joined with 113 Countries) recognized by IOC - International Olympic Committee. The Federation is presided by Prof. Franco Ascani Member of IOC Commission for “Culture and Olympic Education”.

The Festival, that every year assign the “Guirlande d’Honneur” - the highest honour of Federation - to the best productions coming from all over the world - is articulated in 130 Projections (in 6 points of projection in the same time), 8 Meeting, 2 Workshops, 4 Exhibitions, 4 Side Events, 2 Press Conferences, 30 Awards. Is expected the presence of 230 sports journalist and 200 television channels which will take part to the “Tv Sport Emotions Award” to “The best of world tv sport” of the program “TV SPORT EMOTIONS”.

In the ambit of “Tv Sport Emotions” Programme will be assigned the “Tv Sport Emotions Award” to the “Best Sport Tv Channel of the Year”. “Sport Movies & Tv” is an international showcase for media television broadcastings, world Networks, radio, houses of production, producers, directors, filmmakers, Olympic Committees and Sports Federations, sport champions, advertising and integrated communication agencies which will show the sports cinema and television world through documentaries, ads, reportages, fictions, cartoons.
