FICTS PATRONAGE TO XIХ INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL "CINEMA-YOUNG" IN SAMARA (RUSSIA)

FICTS - Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs gives patronage to XIХ International Festival “Cinema – Young people” that will take place in Samara (Russia ) from 21 to 26 April 2014 (website: http://filmdeti.ru/пресс-релиз-xviii-международного-фестива/).

The event is organized by the regional branch of the “Order of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation” and the “Volga –Film” with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of Samara Region, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Samara Region, the Theater “Samart”, the Honorary Consulate of Italy in the Region of Samara, Ulyanovsk Region, the Republic of Tatarstan and the National Tourism Agency ENIT .

The “Opening Ceremony” - dedicated to the 90th anniversary of “Mosfilm” - will take place on April 21, 2014 (at 6 p.m.) at the Philharmonic Theatre at the presence of renowned Russian filmmakers, the actors of the Theatre Centre “Samart” and students of Faculty of acting school and the Academy of Culture and Arts of Samara.

The “Closing Ceremony” is scheduled for April 25, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the cinema “Khudozhestvenny”. During the “Awards Ceremony” will be awarded to the best film in the age categories " 6 +" and "12 +" . First time in the history of the competition Film Festival held. A jury composed by professional directors will evaluate the works of the children, which will include representatives of the five children studios Samara region .

 

PRESTIGIOUS INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENT TO PROF. FRANCO ASCANI

International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach confirmed – yesterday – appointed Prof. Franco Ascani in “IOC Culture and Olympic Education Commission” of which he belongs since 2010.

The prestigious international assignment represents a significant recognition for the fifty-year activities dedicated to the sports movement by Prof. Franco Ascani, actual President of FICTS (Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs - www.sportmoviestv.com), President of the UESpT - Union Européenne Sport pour Tous, Director of the Master in “Sport Management, Marketing & Society” at the University of Milano-Bicocca.

The IOC Culture and Olympic Education Commission is presided by Dr Lambis V. Nikolaou.

The make-up of the Commissions, with an increase in female members (23 per cent), which provide assistance to the IOC and Olympic Games Organizing Committees, reflects the Olympic Movement’s commitment to universality. There will now be two more commissions chaired by women and a significant overall increase in the representation of members from Africa and Oceania.

200 PRODUCTIONS FROM 30 COUNTRIES AT “BARCELONA INTERNATIONAL FICTS FESTIVAL”

More than 200 inscriptions to fifth edition of “BCN Sports Film 2014 - Barcelona International FICTS Festival” scheduled in Barcelona (Spain) from 7th to 10th May 2014.

The event is organized – in the framework of the Worldwide Championship of Cinema, Sport and Television “World FICTS Challenge” - by the “Fundacio Olympic Barcelona” directed by Dr Juli Pernas Lopez (director of Museu Olímpic i de l'Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch) in collaboration with “Nikita Distribution” and with support of FICTS, the Ayuntament de Barcelona Institut Barcelona Esport and the Spanish Olympic Committee. 30 of these are from Cataluña, while other Countries are: Argentina stands out followed by Mexico, Chile and Venezuela. First time entrants include Cyprus, South Korea, Greenland, Maldives, Taiwan, Tobago and Tunisia. Finally we have received over 100 entries from Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chine, France, Germany, Italy, Poland Portugal, Great Britain, Russia, Sweden, Turkey, USA, South Africa, Bulgaria, Denmark, Slovenia, Ethiopia, Finland, Greece, Iran, Israel, Japan, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Indisputable proof of the international reach of the BCN Sports Film Festival as it reaches across the 5 continents.

“SAMARA INTERNATIONAL FICTS FESTIVAL” IN RUSSIA. NEW DATE 11 - 14 NOVEMBER

Samara (Russia) will host – from 11 to 14 November 2014, the “Samara International FICTS Festival” organized, in the framework of the Worldwide Championship of Cinema and Sport Television “World FICTS Challenge”, by the International Sport Movie Festival led by Dr Shamil Tarpishchev, IOC Member and President of Russian Tennis Federation.
The program of the Festival will include the Russian and International competitions.

OPPORTUNITY TO SUBMIT FILM, WITH INVITATION FOR TWO PEOPLE TO “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2014”

FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, joined with 113 Countries) recognized by IOC (International Olympic Committee) organizes SPORT MOVIES & TV 2014 – 32nd MILANO INTERNATIONAL FICTS FEST” (www.sportmoviestv.com), which will be held from 3 to 8 December 2013 in Milano (Italy), with the aim of spreading the values and the messages of sport using the universal language of the sports image.

The International event for Cinema, Television and sports Communication, is the final Phase of the “World FICTS Challenge”, Circuit of 15 Festivals promoted and organised by FICTS in 5 Continents: Barcelona (Spain), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Matera (Italy), Haifa (Israel), Hanoi (Vietnam), Kampala (Uganda), Beijing (P. R. of China), Samara (Russia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Liberec (Czech Rep.), Baku (Azerbaijan), Lipetsk (Russia), Los Angeles (USA), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Tianjin (P. R. of China).

The event, a privileged place of meeting for authors, media, television broadcastings, operating, important world-wide Networks, radio, houses of production, major, producers, directors, filmmakers, Olympic Committees and Sports Federations, advertising and integrated communication agencies, is an important “international showcase” for the productions that will compete for the assignment of the Guirlande d’Honneur the “Oscar of Sports Cinema and Television”, of the Mention d’Honneurand of the Special Prize which will be assigned for each Section by an International Jury.

All the works admitted to the Festival will appear on the program of the event and will be shown with a schedule, inserted in the Festival Official Catalogue (http://www.sportmoviestv.com/catalogue) while the Trailers will be edit on the website in the Section “Trailer” (http://www.sportmoviestv.com/trailer).


For the 150 Selected Works, FICTS - Fédération Internazionale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs – will pay 50% of the cost of the overnight stay (max. 2 people) only to the NASCO HOTEL (4 star, Corso Sempione 69, in the center of Milano) for all the period of the Festival.

A real worldwide event of the field that include 150 Projections, 6 Meetings, 2 Workshops, 4 Exhibitions, 30 Awards, 4 Side Events with prestigious guests and high media interest (230 qualified journalists) that will involve over 100.000 audience with free entrance and by invitation where it is expected the presence of 200 Sports Television Channels which will participate to the delivery of the “Tv Sport Emotions Award” to “The best of world tv sport channel” in the within of the “TV SPORT EMOTIONS” Program.

In 2012 the prestigious prize was given to Eurosport and, in 2013, to CCTV Cinema (China Central Television, National Chinese Television).
