The FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani, in his capacity as Member of the IOC Commission for Culture and Olympic Education, took part in the “Award Ceremony” of “IOC Trophy 2014 – Art and Sport” organized in Athens on January 12 at the headquarters of the Hellenic Olympic Committee. Authorities, sports and institutional personalities were attended to the Ceremony: Lambis Nikolaou IOC Member, Spyros Capralos President of the Greek Olympic Committee, Konstantinos Tasoulas Sports Minister, Isidoros Kouvelos President of the International Olympic Academy.

During the Ceremony, where were rewarded Hellenic athletes Olympic and world medalists in 2014, Prof. Ascani has delivered the prestigious “IOC Trophy 2014 – Art and Sport” to Mina Papatheodorou-Valyraki, “ARTIST OF THE YEAR” for his work “The mind and the body”.
